We had some fantastic work yesterday. So well done if you sent yours in. These are just some that we would like to mention because of the great effort that they put in;

ELLIE and AVA.

Keep it coming and remember to put your name on so that we can give you a shout out tomorrow.

I’ll be online all day today to help you. Remember to sign in and say hello so that I know you are online and I can fill in the register for today. I am looking forward to seeing all of your amazing work today. Have the best day! Mrs Edwards

We would like you to log in into virtual school every day to access the learning. It is crucial that we maintain a routine that is as close as possible to a normal school day. New learning will be available each weekday and we ask that you leave us a comment (questions or messages) you have for your teacher. These will be answered daily so don’t hesitate to comment should you need any support or just want to check-in. Any work that you do, remember to tweet it @hillstoneps.

Most importantly, make sure to stay safe! Have a great day!

Remember to sign in by saying ‘Hi’ in the comments box.

Good News!
We now have a place that you can send your work to us. When you finish a lesson, please take a photo of what you have done and submit it here. Please make sure your name is written clearly somewhere on the photo.

Feedback from yesterday. Some lovely stories came in yesterday. There was an improvement on capital letters for proper nouns but remember was and were. Well done for using the past tense but look at the rule below.

Singular – I was, She was, He was

Plural (more than 1) – They were, the twins were,

Mrs Parr’s RWI group, use the picture support sheet to help you build a sentence, hold a sentence and write the sentence. CLICK HERE to enjoy a build a sentence lesson.

Short TED Talk Video: “The secret to giving great feedback ...

Feedback from yesterday. It was great seeing the bus stop method used so well and again every piece submitted was well presented and a joy to read. Just remember when writing out a division number sentence the larger number goes first. 72 divided by 9 = 8 not 9 divided by 72 = 8.

Today, we are going to be looking at sharing 1. You will find that drawing bars may help you with your working out. When you complete the worksheet, take you time and read my help points carefully as it it is set out in a way we haven’t seen before.
