Please look at the whole page. We will start with writing then maths. Moving onto Guided Reading then after lunch we have Accelerated Reading, Art and PE. We will end the day with a story. All the lessons are there to keep you entertained and happy. This page is meant to help you and give you a little bit of Hillstone at home.

Today we will be visiting the Oak Academy and exploring the different use of apostrophes. We can use apostrophes to contract (put together two words) or show when something belongs to someone. Watch the video and join in with the activities. There are a few tasks to complete after under ‘today’s work’ to show me what you know!

Quick warm up. Log onto Time Table Rock Stars and earn some coins. I will be looking at the leader board every day to see how well you are all doing. Click the link to take you to the website.

Today, we are going to use all of our fractions knowledge to help us solve word problems. You will need to think about all of the techniques that we have learnt and use the practical and pictorial models to solve the problems.

Today we are going to go over the suffix ‘tion’. Remember a suffix is a word ending! this is one that lots of the class are still getting wrong when spelling so make sure your reading the rule carefully!
