Year 4 WB 9th November

Hi year 4, welcome to week 2 of autumn term. Please find your learning for the week below.

On Monday and Tuesday we are going to be practising our 11 and 12 times tables. Make sure you spend a bit of time on TT Rock Stars before the lesson! On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we are going to be practising dividing by 6, 7 and 9. Watch the video on this page to remind yourself what division is.

Next week we are writing a non-chronological report about India. Watch this video to find out what a chronological report is and how you can write your own.

Next week we are reading ‘The Blue Jackal’ and answering some questions on it. We will be thinking about some of the choices that the author made. Have a watch of this video and start to think about how an author decides what to include in the text.
