Topic: Remarkable Romans!
In topic today we will be starting to explore the Roman Army. We are going to look at what uniform and weapons a Roman Soldier would have needed to be a successful legionary in the Roman Army. There is a worksheet link below, if you can not print at home don’t worry- the task on the lesson slides has been adapted so everyone can show me their amazing work!

I’m struggling to understand what Jamie-lea actually has to do with English.
we started at 9. is he writing an information “poster” type thing on why to join the roman army?
Is he to complete it on the computer? or to write it on paper?

Hi,
For English it is to complete the planning sheet about Roman Army uniform. So the children look through the information and then pick out different facts that they found out about each piece of uniform or equipment and fill in the table (printed or electronically), or some children have drawn out the table and handwritten it that way 🙂
It is only notes today ready to help them with the writing they will have to do.
