There was some fantastic work uploaded on Friday! I loved looking through it all! Ava, Jorge, Tyler and Ellie and Alexia were just some of the children that uploaded some great work! Remember to make sure your name is written on your uploads so your teacher knows who has sent them.

Stay safe and I’ll see you soon. Mr Bennett, Miss Thornton, Mrs Edwards.

We would like you to log in into virtual school every day to access the learning. It is crucial that we maintain a routine that is as close as possible to a normal school day. New learning will be available each weekday and we ask that you leave us a comment (questions or messages) you have for your teacher. These will be answered daily so don’t hesitate to comment should you need any support or just want to check-in. Any work that you do, remember to tweet it @hillstoneps. Most importantly, make sure to stay safe! Have a great day!

Good News!
We now have a place that you can send your work to us. When you finish a lesson, please take a photo of what you have done and submit it here. Please make sure your name is written clearly somewhere on the photo.

  5. morning
    I need some help please.
I’m struggling to understand what Jamie-lea actually has to do with English.
we started at 9. is he writing an information “poster” type thing on why to join the roman army?
Is he to complete it on the computer? or to write it on paper?
    miss Hemmings

    1. Hi,
For English it is to complete the planning sheet about Roman Army uniform. So the children look through the information and then pick out different facts that they found out about each piece of uniform or equipment and fill in the table (printed or electronically), or some children have drawn out the table and handwritten it that way πŸ™‚

It is only notes today ready to help them with the writing they will have to do.
      Hope this helped.

    1. Great work on the Roman Soldier uniform Blake! Your drawing of the soldier was great and well labelled! I love that your using your workbook for the lessons πŸ™‚ Keep up the hard work!
