Yesterday we had some great English work sent in. I was really pleased with the different sentence types that you thought of for each picture from the Flotsam story. Everyone remembered to end their sentences with the correct punctuation but I did notice that there were still some capital letters missing when starting a sentence. Remember those capital letters year 3!

Watch the video to learn about something exciting happening next week! We will be looking at somewhere special and coming up with questions. So watch the videos, enjoy learning about somewhere new!

Here are the links. The first videos and websites are full of facts and information. The final one is about an eco kids beach.

DON’T FORGET! Your activity today is to create 5-10 questions to ask about life in Lagos, Nigeria. Look at similarities and differences and think about what you find interesting.

Yesterday I was really pleased with all the maths work sent in. I was so pleased with the children that tried the Going Deeper challenge question, you explained the problem well. I did notice that some of the column subtraction especially when borrowing proved tricky. We will be doing lots of this method in arithmetic.

Today we will be continuing to look at volume. We will focus on writing in ml and l and then moving on to convert these to just millilitres.
