Good morning year 3. Thank you for joining me on today’s Virtual School. Don’t forget to sign in by leaving me a comment in the comments box. It is so important that you do that so we know that you are here and learning. We have a great day lined up for you starting with writing and maths in the morning, followed by Hillstone Life Skills. Then in the afternoon we have Accelerated reader, arithmetic and PE. Don’t forget to settle down and listen to today’s story as well. We will be here all day to answer any questions that you may have. Have the best day. Mrs Edwards.

We would like you to log in into virtual school every day to access the learning. It is crucial that we maintain a routine that is as close as possible to a normal school day. New learning will be available each weekday and we ask that you leave us a comment (questions or messages) you have for your teacher. These will be answered daily so don’t hesitate to comment should you need any support or just want to check-in. Any work that you do, remember to tweet it @hillstoneps.

Most importantly, make sure to stay safe! Have a great day!

Today, we will be looking at scaling problems all to do with mass. Remember to read the questions carefully to see what it is they are asking!

Any questions, just pop into the comment box and we will help you. Enjoy!

Today I have linked in some fun maths games that you can play at home. Choose which maths skill you would like to test, have a go and enjoy! Why not go on TTRS afterwards and earn some points. I will be checking those leader boards tomorrow!

It’s time to move! What could you do today to be active? You could go on a walk, go for a run, ride your bike or dance to your favourite song. If you are struggling for sometime fun to do, click here for one of coaches fun activities.

Sit back, relax and enjoy today’s story! Why not try a few minutes of some calming meditation before the story.

I have chosen a really fun story today called ‘The Great Eggscape!’ I hope you enjoy listening to it.
