Good morning Year 5! Welcome to all 5U and 5K pupils. Thank you for coming on to virtual school today. We would like you to log into virtual school every day to access the learning. It is crucial that we maintain a routine that is as close as possible to a normal school day during the next two weeks. New learning will be available each weekday. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any support or just want to check-in. Remember to tweet your work @hillstoneps. Make sure you leave a comment every day so we know you’re here (each day’s comments section will be used to take a register). Most importantly, make sure to stay safe! Have a great day!

    1. Jasmine I must congratulate you on a fantastically presented piece of persuasive writing work (well worth the wait)!! I loved how you managed to include a number of previous pieces of work to enhance your persuasion, you’ve included pictures, maps and art work. It’s bright, colourful and so, so inviting. You could improve it even further by re-looking at the fronted adverbials that you’ve chosen and seeing if you could change some of them for more appropriate ones. Magnificent job Jasmine.

        1. I wasn’t sure if Ofsted were still doing inspections during the pandemic but now I know that they are. And yes they can be stressful times but at least you’re nearer the end now and what’s even more important than Ofsted is that you and your family are alive and well. Keep up the good work with school and home, thank you also.
