Think carefully about the sounds in words and ensuring that a sensible sized space is left between words when we write. The children use the charts below at every writing opportunity in school.

It is important to encourage your child to say their sentences aloud before writing them and to read them back to ensure they make sense.

Click the ‘Enter Word List Code’ button on the right and enter one of the codes below. It would be useful to begin with the Reception key words and move on to the Year 1 words when your child is ready.

We suggest you spend a week on each list. There are a number of different games your child can play to practice and test themselves.

  1. Matthew, sorry i forgot to comment last week, Matthew has been on the virtual school, he did yoga to swish the fish, looked at the london burning song.

        1. The work will come through automatically, but we cannot give out Marvellous Me badges or feedback without a name on them. It doesn’t tell us who uploaded it so we won’t know who it is from unless it has a name on. I hope this helps!
