Each week we practise our keyword spellings. Click here to use the Spelling Frame website.

Click the ‘Enter Word List Code’ button on the right and enter one of the codes below. It would be useful to begin with the Reception key words and move on to the Year 1 words when your child is ready.

We suggest you spend a week on each list. There are a number of different games your child can play to practice and test themselves.

Last week, you started your oil pastels/crayon background as below.

Today, we need to add our silhouette of houses. The picture on the right will show you what our artwork is going to look like when we’ve finished.

First, we need to cut out our houses for the foreground (the front of the picture). You can draw this yourself by coping the example on the right or have an adult print out the one below. Don’t worry about the windows or doors, as we are going to work on top of them.

We’d like you to use collage if you can to give your artwork some depth. This involves using different materials, this could be tissue, paper, card, fabric or anything else you can find.

If you cannot find lots of different materials, you can simply use different mediums such as pens, pencils, crayons, chalks, paints etc. When you are done, stick it on top of your background from last week.

  2. Matthew, sorry i forgot to comment last week, Matthew has been on the virtual school, he did yoga to swish the fish, looked at the london burning song.

        1. The work will come through automatically, but we cannot give out Marvellous Me badges or feedback without a name on them. It doesn’t tell us who uploaded it so we won’t know who it is from unless it has a name on. I hope this helps!
