We use this as a register every day.

If you’d like to contact us privately or send us your work so we can give you feedback you can use the following email address: year1@hillstone.org.uk

You can write your workings and your answers into your Hillstone Virtual School book OR print the sheet below the video.

Watch the video before you complete the worksheet.

Mrs Chudleigh has sent you all a text with your Read Write Inc. group.

Watch and join in with all three videos (Sounds, Red Words and Spelling) for your RWI group.

Click here for the information you need to access Oxford Owl. You can choose a book at your RWI phonics level OR your book band level.

Click here for a range of ideas for questions you can ask your child about the text they are reading.

Think carefully about the sounds in words and ensuring that a sensible sized space is left between words when we write. The children use the charts below at every writing opportunity in school.

It is important to encourage your child to say their sentences aloud before writing them and to read them back to ensure they make sense.

Using the links below complete the variety of activities. Some activities are spelling, and some are correcting punctuation.

Today we would like you to create a friendship token and recognise why you are different from your friend. You may decorate this after if you wish.

Don’t forget to share your work with us.

Watch the video below to join in with our guided meditation session.
