I can see from yesterday’s work that all of you understood what horizontal and vertical lines are! I knew you would! I was really impressed with the household objects you found as examples of the 2 different lines. I think the most unique was definitely the rabbit hutch.

Today, we will be continuing our work on lines. We will be learning about a specific type of line today called a perpendicular line. Don’t worry if this sounds confusing, it is actually really simple! Watch the lesson video and if you get stuck the extra support video is there to help. You will need your right-angle checker that you made in the previous unit all about angles. If you haven’t got it, not to worry as you can make a new one today. The first link is just a quick recap about how to make a right angle checker, you will want to do this before starting the lesson as it will help you to complete the tasks.

Any questions, just pop into the comment box and we will help you. Enjoy!

Today we will be reading a brand new story. We are going to be making predictions throughout the week as week read. I am not going to tell you the name of the story because I want you to use clues from the text to see if you can work out what it is called. The only thing I am going to tell you is it starts with “The boy who…” We will be reading the story in 3 parts. So lets get started with part 1!
