We had some fantastic work yesterday. So well done if you sent yours in. These are just some that we would like to mention because of the great effort put into their work .

Amelia in 3B and Ava. We loved your questions and ideas about the poem. Freddy and Ellie created some really colourful work for Safer Internet Day and everyone who submitted maths work did brilliantly.

Keep up all of your hard work. You are amazing!

Feedback from yesterday is that you have a good understanding of statistics and bar charts. there were some really neat examples and these were the easiest to read and quickest to find the data from. So the neater, the better.

Today, we will be continuing our work on graphs. We will be looking in more detail at reading and interpreting graphs to answer questions. Remember to read the questions carefully and look at the scale on the graph before you answer anything. There will be some video clips for you to watch to help you along the way.

Watch the video below to find out what you will be doing.

Guided Reading

Short TED Talk Video: “The secret to giving great feedback ...

Feedback from yesterday is to remember to punctuate your work correctly. Capital letters for names and end your sentences with either a full stop if it’s a statement, question mark if it’s a question or an exclamation mark if it’s an exclamation sentence.

We are continuing with the story The Sandal today in Guided Reading. Yesterday you thought of a simple script in which you wrote a sentence that each character could say. Today you are going to build upon these by making your simple dialogue more complex. Watch the introduction video and then the lesson task to see what you will be doing today.
