Please look at the whole page. We start with writing then maths. Moving onto spellings then after lunch, Accelerated Reading, topic and PE. We will end the day with a story. All the lessons are there to keep you entertained and happy. This page is meant to help you and give you a little bit of Hillstone at home.

We had some fantastic work yesterday. So well done if you sent yours in. Feedback from yesterday would be to make sure that you read back through your work and look for those missing capital letters. You are doing a great job of using them for proper nouns, but don’t forget to use them at the start of every sentence. You are using adjectives well to add description well in your writing, now really focus on on building tension and creating suspense.

Feedback from yesterday is that you are using your knowledge of division well, but remember when you are dividing one whole, you will get a fraction. So 1 divided by 7 would create sevenths.

Today, it’s our last lesson on fractions (crying face). So it is your job today to put everything that you have learnt over the past 4 weeks into action. I want you to think about all of the techniques and strategies that we have used to show our working out. You are going to need to use these in order to solve the word problems.There will be some video clips for you to watch to help you along the way.
