Year 6 Monday 8th March

Good morning Year 6 and happy Monday.

Welcome to our virtual page. As our bubble is having to isolate, we will maintain a routine which is as close as possible to a normal school day. New lessons will be uploaded every day and I am available in the comments section should you require any support.

We hope you enjoy today’s lessons.  Do send us in photos of your work using the buttons on this page, and remembering to include your name! And, please stay safe.

There are a few options for your PE sessions, each day.

  1. Follow along with Joe Wicks, on his YouTube channel here, where he has a variety of sessions for you to complete.
  2. Check out the activities on Coach’s PE From Home page here and choose one (or more!) to complete.
  3. Go for some exercise outdoors, whether it’s a walk, a jog, a run or something else (all in your garden, of course).
  4. Choose an activity from Youth Sports Trust. You can find a list of fun activities here.

If you are able to, please take photos or videos of whichever activity you choose and upload to Twitter @hillstoneps (include your name and year group) so we can see what you are getting up to!

    1. I’m really pleased you’ve worked so hard Jenson and that you’re proud of what you have achieved. I am sure it’s wonderful! Remember that it’s good to pace yourself and have plenty of breaks too.

    1. You can submit it using the submit button underneath, but that is this afternoon’s lesson Jenson so make sure you focus on the morning lessons as these will put you in a good position for returning to school next week.

    1. Really pleased you’re working hard Theo. This will definitely mean you’re in a good position next week, when we return to school, but remember to take the breaks you need and the lessons should be taking the full amount of time on the timetable 🙂

You are capable of researching this yourself though Kian. Vocabulary.com in particular, which we have used in school, is a good website to use.
