Thursday 25th February
Good news! We now have a place where you can send your work to us. When you finish a lesson, please take a photograph of it and submit by click on the ‘Super Work’ image below. Make sure your name is written on the work clearly. We look forward to seeing what you have done!
We wanted to share some of the wonderful work that was done at home yesterday. If you submitted some maths or art work, watch the video carefully – you may see your work there!
We’re sorting 2D shapes today. Get started by watching my video below. Suggested timing – around 45 minutes (including time spent on the game.)
Click here for today’s task outlined in the video.
Click here for the answers so you can tick or fix.
If you’d prefer not to use the worksheet and would rather come up with your own way of sorting shapes, then that’s great! Make sure to send us in some photographs of your ideas.
Finally, if you have time, have a go at using a Venn diagram to sort shapes by spending 10 minutes on the game below. Please select ‘Triangles’ and ‘Lines of symmetry’ when choosing the options for the game.
Here are the suggested RWI activities for your group. Please try the other activities too if you have time. Don’t forget to do your spellings today.
PINK/ORANGE Speed sound reading and Speed sound spelling. Now try Red words.
YELLOW Speed sound reading and Speed sound spelling. Now try Red Words.
BLUE/GREY Speed sound reading and Speed sound spelling. Now try Red Words.
ALL GROUPS –
OFF RWI (suggested timing 40 minutes) You are going to be planning your own story today called ‘The Lion’s Tour of London’. The video will show you exactly what to do. You can print off a story map template or you can divide a page of your workbook into 6 parts ready for today’s planning.

Hi Mrs Driver, I have sent Moutasim’s maths, English and topic video and pictures. I have also included Tuesdays work as well. Moutasim finds the yoga more calming than the meditation and asking why was the blue frog sad? And why didn’t he talk earlier? And then concluded all he wanted was a friend because he was lonely.
You can never underestimate the power of friendship! Thank you for the work.
