Year 2 Virtual Classroom

If your child is required to isolate or is unable to attend school for an extended period of time, please call the office on 0121 675 3573 and arrange a telephone meeting with Miss Langford or Mrs Driver to discuss your child’s learning.

Your year 2 teachers would like you to log into the virtual school, if you are isolating, every day to access the learning. It is crucial to maintain a routine that is as close as possible to a normal school day and to ensure that no learning is missed.

Most importantly, make sure to stay safe! Have a great day!

      1. hello mrs sheehan its aoife mom she is struggling really bad about counting when i done the game on virtual school dubble numbers up to ten she started with5 an she can not put her other had a dubble she struggling any ideas thanks

        1. Hi! Thanks for getting in touch. Ask Aoife to draw pictures to represent the numbers, maybe on a ladybird or butterfly if doubling. Draw 5 dots on one side, then 5 on the other, then count the total. We use pictures and drawings a lot in class to represent calculations. Hope this helps! Let mw know.

  49. Ava has completed her maths and had a good understanding of it. She has enjoyed reading about the facts of the U.K. and has insisted on reading it herself. I have uploaded the work she has completed so far 👍🏻
